How to create a remote Act! database
To create a new remote database, on the server, in Act!, go to Tools | Sync panel
Choose Create Remote Database
Default options should be:
Allow database supplemental files to synchronise - unchecked
Do not allow this database to synchronise attachments
include attachments in remote database creation
number of days: 60
On user's laptop, in Act, go to File | Restore
Choose Unpack and Restore Remote Database
Remote Database file to restore: \oeuk-app\ACT2012\RDB
Restore remote database to this location: c:\actdb

\\uklowdfs01\data\ACT18\RDB\Munir_1609.RDB
C:\actdb
